Renault has introduced the 2025 Kiger facelift, adding a premium touch to its popular sub-4 meter SUV. Competing with the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Fronx, the new Kiger offers a refreshed design, advanced safety kit, and upgraded cabin features.
The starting price is set at ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable options in its segment. In Delhi, the on-road price of the base variant comes to around ₹7.15 lakh, which includes RTO charges, insurance, and other fees. Prices may vary across cities and dealerships.
For buyers, the car can be owned with an initial down payment of just ₹1 lakh. The remaining amount—approximately ₹6.15 lakh—can be financed through a car loan. Assuming a 5-year tenure with a 9% interest rate, the monthly EMI works out between ₹12,000 and ₹13,000, depending on the bank, loan duration, and credit profile.
Under the hood, Renault offers two engine options: a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol for smooth city driving and a 1.0L turbo petrol for more power and sporty performance. Both engines are available with manual and automatic transmission choices. In terms of mileage, the naturally aspirated unit delivers up to 19.83 kmpl, while the turbo petrol offers around 20.38 kmpl.
Inside, the cabin has been upgraded with premium features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and automatic climate control.
Safety has also received a strong boost. The new Kiger comes equipped with 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, TPMS, and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard.
Overall, the 2025 Renault Kiger delivers a strong balance of affordability, performance, safety, and features, making it an appealing choice for budget-conscious buyers who don’t want to compromise on style or technology.
