BMRG-Fiery Falcons wins Sadashivanagar Badminton League

Bengaluru : In a thrilling showdown at the Sadashivanagar Badminton League, BMRG-Fiery Falcons, led by team owner B R Sridhar, emerged victorious after securing a 3-1 win against Thunder Dragons in the highly anticipated final match.

The final was an electrifying contest, with both teams displaying remarkable skill and determination. The Falcons took an early lead, driven by a stellar performance from Ritesh Suresh. However, Thunder Dragons, spearheaded by Nishant and his team, mounted a strong comeback, keeping the contest intense.

The turning point came when the Falcons’ first doubles pair staged an incredible comeback in the third set, shifting the momentum decisively in their favor. This crucial win paved the way for the Falcons to dominate the remaining matches, ultimately sealing the championship title with a 3-1 victory.

BMRG-Fiery Falcons showcased exemplary teamwork and resilience throughout the tournament. The championship-winning squad included Venkatesh, Dharini, Vijay, Ritesh, Nirmala, Tanush, Shashikanth, Harpreet, Satish, Ashok Shetty, and Ravishankar.

The Sadashivanagar Badminton League, hosted at the Sadashivanagar Club from January 17 to February 1, witnessed participation from six competitive teams: Roaring Lions, Stallion Wizards, BMRG-Fiery Falcons, Thunder Dragons, Wild Wolves, and Bengaluru Bulls. Organized by the Sadashivanagar Club, with support from the Karnataka State Billiards Association (KSBA) badminton fraternity, the league featured over 60 talented players, making it a spectacular event for badminton enthusiasts in Bengaluru.

With this victory, the BMRG-Fiery Falcons have etched their name in the league’s history, setting the stage for even fiercer competition in the future editions of the tournament.
