Bengaluru Rural : The Vijayapura police in Devanahalli have successfully arrested two members of the notorious Oji Kuppam gang, who had been robbing unsuspecting bank customers after they withdrew cash.
The arrested suspects, identified as K. Harikrishna from Andhra Pradesh and K. Sudhakar from Tamil Nadu, were involved in a robbery on January 4 in Vijayapura town.

They had followed a customer, Mahesh Babu, after he withdrew money from a bank and ambushed him on Bullahalli Road, stealing ₹1.5 lakh before fleeing.

Following an investigation, the police tracked down and arrested Harikrishna and Sudhakar, recovering ₹50,000 in cash from them. The authorities believe the gang has been involved in multiple such incidents and are investigating further.
