Bengaluru: A horrific gang rape incident came to light in Bengaluru KR Market area. Two men, Ganesh (27) and Sharavana (35), were arrested by the police for the brutal crime. The accused, both daily wage laborers, reportedly lured a 37-year-old woman from Tamil Nadu, who had been waiting for a bus at the market to go to her brother’s house in Yelahanka.
The incident occurred on the night of January 19, when the woman was approached by the two men, who offered to show her the bus stop. Instead, they led her to a secluded spot in the S.J. Park Police Station area, where they gang-raped her. After the attack, the accused stole her gold jewelry and fled the scene.
