Apple’s Impressive 2025 Q1 Results and Focus on India

Apple recently released its financial results for the first quarter of 2025, revealing impressive growth. CEO Tim Cook shared that the quarterly revenue had reached $124.3 billion, an increase of 4% compared to the previous year. This shows Apple’s continued dominance in the global tech market.

Along with this, Apple made an exciting announcement about launching Apple Intelligence in India in April. This AI feature will be available not only in English but also in various local languages. This step is part of Apple’s larger plan to push AI technology forward, enhancing its product ecosystem with smarter, more intuitive devices.

Tim Cook highlighted that the iPhone install base has hit an all-time high, with India, the US, China, and other key markets seeing record iPhone sales in the December quarter. In particular, India has seen significant growth, with the iPhone becoming the top-selling model in the country. To support this growing demand, Apple plans to open four new retail stores in India, reinforcing its commitment to one of the world’s fastest-growing smartphone markets.

Apple’s CFO, Kevan Faragh, confirmed that the company is seeing strong demand in emerging markets and is now positioned to return over $30 billion to shareholders. This reflects the continued growth and success of Apple’s products worldwide, especially in developing markets like India.

For Apple Intelligence to work, devices need to be updated to the latest software versions, including iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Security 15.2. The AI feature will be supported on models like the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, and others. Moreover, the AI will also work with devices using the A17 chip and M1 chips from recent releases.
