Panic gripped Delhi’s Daryaganj area on Wednesday morning after an old building suddenly collapsed, leaving three people dead. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Daryaganj police station.
Officials said the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) teams, along with local police, rushed to the spot soon after receiving information. Rescue operations were immediately initiated, with teams clearing the debris to check for any survivors.
The bodies of the three victims were recovered and later shifted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police officials confirmed that efforts to remove the rubble are still underway.
