On February 1st, LPG consumers received some relief as the price of commercial LPG cylinders was reduced by ₹7. This small yet significant drop, however, only applies to the 19 kg commercial cylinders, not the domestic ones (14 kg cylinders), which remain unchanged since August 2024.

This slight reduction in commercial cylinder prices will provide some relief to businesses and consumers, especially with the budget discussions just around the corner. However, the unchanged rates for domestic cylinders have left many wondering about future adjustments.
