Following the unveiling of the Creta EV at the 2025 Auto Expo, Hyundai has confirmed that it will introduce three new electric vehicles to cater to the growing needs of Indian consumers. He mentioned, "We are preparing to launch three more mass-market EVs, all of which will be locally produced in India." While Garg refrained from revealing the specifics regarding the models or their exact launch timelines, the company is clearly committed to bolstering its EV presence in the country. Hyundai Exter EV One of the key models Hyundai is expected to launch is the Exter-based EV, designed to compete with the Punch EV. The Exter EV is anticipated to be introduced by mid-2026 and will likely come with two battery pack options, 42 kWh and 49 kWh. With a driving range of up to 355 km, the Exter EV could be priced starting at around ₹12 lakh, offering a competitive option for budget-conscious buyers. 2025 Hero Destini 125 Scooter Launched in India: A Stylish, Feature-Packed Ride Venue & Grand i10 EV In addition to the Exter EV, Hyundai is also planning to launch electric versions of the Venue and Grand i10 Nios in the Indian market. Media reports suggest that both cars will be available in electric variants by 2027. The Grand i10 Nios is expected to become Hyundai's entry-level electric offering, catering to a more affordable segment of the market. Hyundai’s push into the electric vehicle market is a clear indication of its dedication to sustainable mobility in India.
