Vivo has launched its latest budget powerhouse – the Vivo Y300c – in the Chinese market. Designed for performance-hungry users, this phone features a 6500mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging, along with a reverse charging feature to power accessories like wireless earbuds.
In terms of design and display, the phone sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, offering a fluid viewing and gaming experience. During gaming, the touch sampling rate climbs to 300Hz, which helps with responsiveness. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset (Dimensity 6300 processor) ensures a smooth user experience.

Photography lovers will appreciate the dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP bokeh lens with LED flash. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera. The phone comes in a single variant with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage, making it a solid choice for multitasking and media storage.
The phone is currently priced around $195 (roughly ₹16,700) and has only been launched in China for now. The standout features make it a serious contender in the mid-budget segment.
Meanwhile, Vivo is gearing up to launch its foldable smartphone Vivo X Fold 5, expected to feature an 8.03-inch 2K+ AMOLED main screen, 6.53-inch LTPO cover display, dual 32MP selfie cameras, and a 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging. This suggests Vivo’s aggressive strategy across different smartphone categories.
